Classic Grilled Cheese
Golden, buttery, properly melted - the grilled cheese that needs nothing else to be perfect.
There is no reason to overthink a grilled cheese. Good bread, real butter, sharp cheddar, and medium-low heat so the outside turns deeply golden by the time the inside is fully melted. The biggest mistake people make is rushing it on high heat - the bread burns before the cheese has a chance to melt through. Patience here is the entire technique. Pair it with the tomato soup and you have lunch solved.
