Double Chocolate Mug Muffin
Cocoa in the batter, chocolate chips on top - for mornings when you need chocolate immediately and cannot wait.
This is the mug muffin for emergencies. Not real emergencies - the kind where you need chocolate right now and the universe owes you this. Cocoa powder goes into the batter itself so the whole thing tastes of chocolate rather than just having chocolate pieces in it, and then chocolate chips melt on top during the microwave so there's a slightly gooey chocolate layer waiting for you when you dig in. It is breakfast. Or dessert. The cocoa has antioxidants. The chocolate chips are a treat. Technically cacao is a fruit so you're on your way to a solid day. You've already made worse decisions before 9am. This is not one of them.
