Cinnamon Roll Mug Muffin
All the flavors of a cinnamon roll - swirled cinnamon sugar, cream cheese glaze - in one mug in under 5 minutes.
A real cinnamon roll takes two hours and a stand mixer and a level of patience that most people don't have on a weekday morning. This version takes four minutes and a mug and delivers the same essential experience: soft dough, cinnamon sugar swirl, cream cheese glaze drizzled over the top while it's still warm. The swirl goes in halfway through the mixing so you get actual ribbons of cinnamon sugar rather than a uniformly spiced batter. The cream cheese glaze is two ingredients stirred together in a spoon and poured over the top. It sounds too easy. It is too easy. That's the whole point.
Prep: 4 min • Cook: 2 min • Serves: 1

- 1 Tbl Sugar
- 0.25 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 pinch Salt

- Mix cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl. Drop spoonfuls into the batter and swirl gently with a toothpick or fork - you want ribbons, not full incorporation.

- While it cooks, stir cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
- Cool for 30 seconds, drizzle cream cheese glaze over the top, and eat immediately.
