Curried Chicken Salad
Creamy curried chicken salad - the sandwich filling that upstages the bread.
Curried chicken salad is the version that people who grew up thinking they did not like chicken salad tend to fall for. Start with the same base as the classic - shredded chicken, mayo, celery - and stir in curry powder. It blooms in the mayo and creates a warm, fragrant base that is completely different from the plain version. Use leftover chicken from a roast and this comes together in five minutes.
