Banana Bread Overnight Oats
Overnight oats that taste like banana bread - warm spices, ripe banana, and a little crunch.
All the flavors of banana bread, zero oven (or microwave, if you tried the mug muffin) required, ready before your alarm goes off. The riper the banana the better - mash it directly into the oat mixture where it adds natural sweetness and breaks down overnight into the oats themselves. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and a little brown sugar give you the banana bread flavor profile. A handful of walnuts on top in the morning adds the crunch that the real thing gets from its crust. This is the overnight oats recipe for people who think overnight oats sound boring.
